About Us

Eric

Teacher Eric studied Physics at Rice University and Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at UCLA. While his passion for science and research has always remained strong, teaching has also been a calling he has faithfully pursued for the past 18 years.
He has taught students from 5th to 12th grade across a broad academic range, from foundational literacy to advanced STEM, including AP Calculus and AP Physics C: E&M. Though accomplished across many subjects, Eric is especially known in Dallas for his exceptional SAT program, refined through years of work at premier college prep institutions.
Eric is driven by a simple mission: to help each student grow with confidence, reach their highest potential, and fulfill their academic goals. He teaches with care, intention, and high standards, and works especially well with families who value trust, consistency, discipline, and a shared commitment to helping their children thrive.

Sophiea

Sophiea studied both Marketing and Design at the University of Southern California (USC) and built experience in entertainment and marketing while in Los Angeles. As an alumna of both USC and Harvard-Westlake, she has continued to give back through alumni panels and service as the youngest President of the Harvard-Westlake Korean American Alumni Board.

Like Eric, Sophiea shares a deep passion for helping students grow and reach their highest potential. As the operator of New Learning Method, and through her graduate studies in Christian Counseling at Dallas Baptist University, she is committed to creating a thoughtful, high-quality experience where families feel supported in their child’s academic journey.
